Media Enriched Sport Experience will help co-chair the special E-sport track during the ISAGA2019 conference hosted in Warsaw (Poland).
The International Simulation and Gaming Association is one of the oldest communities of people involved in the domain of gaming and simulation. Its members cover a vast knowledge and tradition in developing and using simulation, gaming, and related methods. ISAGA combines computer gaming, interactive media, serious gaming, new learning technologies and much more to solve many complex societal challenges. ISAGA is pluriform in its focus, as the field of gaming and simulation requires a mix of views to be successful. Three disciplines, science, art and craft meet together in ISAGA. The focus lies on systematic, methodologically correct evaluation of gaming and simulation methods.
ISAGA 2019: E-SPORT
Celebrating 50 years of continued excellence in research, gaming, facilitation, and game design. There are many tracks to apply for, ranging from gaming cultures to simulation gaming in VR and AR. MENSES is involved in one specialty track: E-SPORTS. E-sports is becoming one of the prevalent trend of today’s gaming landscape. It attracts many people to gaming industry from the social groups that were not activated by gaming in the past. Track welcomes submissions on all aspects of e-sports, from game and systems design to player and viewer engagement. More information will follow soon. Download Isaga call for papers. The deadline for submitting papers is March 15th, 2019. All accepted conference submission (extended abstracts and full paper) will be published in peer-reviewed conference proceedings (with ISBN). Selected full papers will be invited to the post-conference Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science publication.
